Christmas Program

The last week of school was packed with fun.  They had Grandparent Day and built gingerbread houses together. Our neighbor, Marilyn, was thrilled to come and step in has Madelyn's local  grandparent.  We are grateful for neighbors that love our kids.
Later in the week, we enjoyed Madelyn's first Christmas program. Our church does not do a children's program, so I was very excited to hear the children sing and complete their preschool program. Madelyn had been singing the songs at home, so I was curious if she would actually sing and do the motions with a room full of people.  Their teachers had prepared them well and they kids did an awesome job!
Her role was Mary this year, which was good because the other parents did a fabulous job of designing costumes for their kids.  I am not creative when it comes to stable animals. Madelyn had a distinct idea of how Mary should look.  She insisted we only look at the Bible because the Bible is true. The Internet was not a good source as it was not the Bible!

She was very excited that she was the one to hold baby Jesus
