ThanksMas- Part 3 Presents

As is our family tradition since we all got married, we rotate which holiday (Thanksgiving or Christmas) that we get together so we can also spend time with the in-laws. Since our family won't get together over Christmas, this was our time for gift exchange. We put the tree up the day after Thanksgiving and enjoyed watching the kids open their gifts. Gift opening was too structured for Madelyn as it required her to open only her gifts. Everyone's seemed more fun to open than hers. Since Madelyn rarely plays with her toys, we were excited to receive some gifts that she is actually playing with!

"It's almost done Mom."

"Come sit at my table. I made you lunch."
She loves her doll and spent most of the night putting the baby in and out of the doll pack-n-play (her new gift), wrapping it in blankets and trying to change it's diaper.
Jason thought it would be fun to put her in with her baby. I'm not sure this was a good trick to teach her. We'll see.
