Early Fall Fun

Madelyn loves babies and kept asking to hold baby Jack.  She also found his toys more interesting than hers, particularly the Boppy pillow we had behind him when he sat.  Jack wiggled out of the Boppy, so Callie claimed it as her own.
While the babies played, the big girls turned into princesses. Here they are dancing at the ball.
Callie finally got the best of both worlds. Holding baby Jack, while in the Boppy!
In early September, Macomb has its Balloon Festival. Just like last year the weather kept the balloons grounded, but a few nice balloon owners were kind enough to inflate them for our viewing on Friday night.  Saturday night is the balloon glow where dozens of balloons are tethered and "glow" to music for nearly an hour. I officiated my first volleyball tournament, so I missed the Balloon Glow this year. :(

Find the orange speck between Callie and the balloon. That's Maddy :)
The biggest addition to our fall activities, is the new swing set in our yard. I have more pictures for another post, but wanted to share these pictures.  Callie loves baby swings, but we don't have one.  While I was officiating, Jason had some great time with the girls.  He discovered that Callie was happy to use him as a baby swing :)
She is so relaxed on Jason, she is playing with the buttons on her shirt.
