Camping Attempt

In early October we attempted a camping trip with the girls.  Maddy was very excited about this adventure, but we had to disappoint her when the forecast was for a 34 degree night.  We decided to transform our trip into a nature hike and bonfire.  The girls had a good time exploring.  Maddy started running a fever around suppertime, so it was a good thing we weren't intending to brave the cold temperatures for the night.

 Maybe next year we'll get the tent out!



Callie was enamoured by the fire.
