April Visitors

My sister and her boys came to visit us a few weeks ago..okay almost a month ago.  We enjoyed the time to catch up with each other and the kids played remarkably well together.  Although the older two didn't always like to include the younger two in their pretend play.  The kids decided to put on a concert for us here.  Maddy was the pianist, Toby was the vocalist and Jackson and Callie had the dancing responsibilities.  It was quite hilarious!

Callie was relieved when everyone gave up on the show and she could have her chance on the keyboard.

The older three decided that pounding the balls back down was exciting.  Here Jackson is sporting his princess dress, and wasn't far from his pink purse either for most of the day. :)
Jackson brought his umbrella when they came to visit since it was forecasted as a rainy weekend. Since then, the girls have requested umbrellas for play every time it rains.  On this particular Tuesday, it rained most of the day.  We broke out the umbrellas and had an outdoor water adventure.

The girls were investigated our raspberry bushes. Madelyn was concerned they were getting wet and attempted to protect them with her umbrella.

It wasn't really raining that hard and the pool of water that had formed on the sandbox tarp was much more interesting than holding the umbrella for the few drops that were falling.  Scooping out water was much more entertaining!  The girls were went muddy and ready for lunch by the time this adventure was complete, but they sure had fun!

Next up...Tulip Time and a visit from my brother's family
