Madelyn is doing better each day at walking. She regularly steps from toy to toy. Unfortunately she would still rather run and lunge than to walk carefully, so she has had her share of bumps and bruises. If she concentrates she really does quite well for a beginner. She can make it all the way across our kitchen if she wants to.
One of her tumbles landed her in this position. (She tends to fall backwards and folds as she falls)
At nearly a year, she still fights sleep and struggles to relax and stop moving long enough to fall asleep. After our first adventure at the park today, she finally gave up in her little corner.

Yeah, what a big girl!!! How exciting to see her walk! Abby still fights sleep too, so you're not alone. But it DOES get better, just slower with some kids I guess :/.
