Jason took Madelyn with him to get a movie this past Friday. Her language and memory are developing enough now for her to remember and re-tell certain events. Our conversation went something like this.
Me: "Did you have fun with Daddy?"
Maddy: "Yes! Movie store."
Me: "What did you do there with Daddy?"
Maddy: "Me run. Fast!"
Me: "Oh really."
Maddy: "Yes! Daddy catched me."
Me: "Was that fun?"
Maddy: "Yes!" "Me run fast! Daddy catched me."
(All of Maddy's yes's are emphatic and enthusiastic)
I'm not sure Jason thought the outing as was exciting as Madelyn.
