Birthday and Snowmen

At the end of February I celebrated my birthday with a quiet day at home with some of my favorite people, my family.  Jason and I were able to enjoy dinner out together without kids, which was a nice way to spend a birthday evening.  We finished the night off by watching "Lady and the Tramp" as a family.
Me and my little ladies.
We've had almost no snow this winter, so Madelyn was thrilled when the snow stuck around Monday long enough to build snowmen. Callie, unfortunately, missed the fun thanks to her nap. This is her first snow building experience and she caught on quickly how to roll the balls.  We used up almost all of the snow in our yard to build our family of snowmen.  Had there been more snow she was insisting on also building all her grandpas and grandmas.

The kids were built first, so are larger.  Jason is on the far left. Maddy wanted him to have big muscles because "Daddy's are strong." (We weren't successful at creating those muscles).  I am the one on the right because "Callie loves mommy best."
And now that it was 71 degrees on Tuesday, all of our snowmen are gone and we are back to playing on the swingset.
