Madelyn has been looking forward to preschool all summer. Although she is a young 4, she is ready for the structure and learning that pre-school provides. She was so excited last night, she had trouble falling asleep.
Madelyn will be attending preschool on Monday through Wednesday from 8:30-11:00. It looks like there will be more boys in her class, but that's okay. Callie is not so sure about this arrangement. She did a lot better than I thought she would today without Maddy and only asked a few times "Where my Nanny (Maddy) sister go?" and declared to several strangers "My Nanny sister at Bible School"

I am sure we will glean more about her first day during the course of the rest of this day, but for now we know that she had cantaloupe and strawberries for snack, bumped her head on the slide at recess, colored, said her abc's, her numbers, and read a really funny book about a dog licking a boys eye. :)
Now to finish her homework assignment for Wednesday.
