Bridges of Madison County

My parents were here this weekend. Friday night we celebrated Dad's birthday with Dawn and Andy in Pella. Saturday I had a volleyball tournament to coach in Winterset, which happens to be near several of the famous covered bridges of Madison county. Since none of us had ever taken the time to visit any of them, we decided to stop at Cedar Bridge since the weather was so beautiful.

We had fun trying to take a family shot together, but our varying heights made it challenging. Madelyn was fascinated with Mom's shirt.
