The weather is a little frigid here in Ames, IA. The air temperature is -4 and the windchill is -20+ -- the high tomorrow is -1! That may not sound to bad to folks further north but to those in Florida (they shall remain nameless) who have forgotten the cold...I hope you shiver:)
Two thoughts from the day
1) I am really excited to see Maddy enjoying the coffee cup.. get her started early!
2) We finally got our Christmas letter out today which we are excited about. More exciting though have been all the letters and pictures we have received from friends over the past few weeks. Each time we open one we are reminded of the memories we have shared. We like to take the pictures people send and post them on the door in our kitchen. This is what we see when we enter the house and it is always fun to see the door. We feel very fortunate to have almost filled the door with pictures. Karen, Madelyn, and I have been truly blessed to experience the kindness of so many people.
We wish you all a very merry Christmas
Jay, Kay, and Maddy
