Weeks of Ups and Downs...

The last two weeks have been filled with variety=never a dull moment. Jason and his brother, Mark, had the chance to ride in an Iron Man Century bike ride on April 27 in Minnesota. It was cold and rainy, so they opted for the 65 miles instead of 100. They could have made the 100 miles, but frankly 40 degrees, 15 mph wind, and an inch of cold rain made the trip pretty miserable. Jason did enjoy catching up with his former professor from the University of Minnesota as he also rode. While he was gone Madelyn learned to cuddle! Unfortunately it meant nights on the couch with a sick baby. Thankfully now that she is feeling better she still is much more cuddly than she has ever been! I'm enjoying that.
She still enjoys eating off our plates. Food is like a magnet. I like this picture because it shows how long her hair is getting on the sides and curly in the back.
Peek-a-boo!The poor girl doesn't hide that she feels crummy.
Her best attempt at a smile while she had her fever.
