This morning when I looked out the window, the sun was shining brightly on the newly fallen snow. Our backyard was pristene with only a few rabbit tracks, that quickly drifted back in. The snow glistened on the evergreens outlined by the brilliant blue cloudless sky. What a beautiful morning. I almost wanted to go for a walk in the winterwonderland in the prairie area near our home.
Then I looked at the temperature... -5.5 degrees. Wind chill of -20degrees! BURR! The beauty of the morning was deceptive. What a wonderful day to stay inside!
