We spent Mother's Day with Jason's family in Oskaloosa and Pella. It is always a special time for a mom to have all her kids in church with her, and Gloria was blessed this morning as we worshipped with them. Lunch was with the Ver Meer clan in Pella. Each year it grows louder and louder as more children are added to the festivities. What a blessing to be able to celebrate Mother's Day with Jason's Grandma Ver Meer who was feeling great today and was able to join us for the gathering. Although it is a lot of work to get her from the nursing home to the house, we are thankful she could enjoy Mother's Day with her family.
We were also able to celebrate Mark's (Jason's youngest brother) graduation from Dordt College. Unfortunately we weren't able to make it to the graduation, but he is home now, so we could celebrate with him.
