Irony and a Weekend

IRONY OF THE DAY (as witnessed by Karen): Father harshly scolds his young child (3-4ish) to look both ways as she enters the street to get into the car. "She should know better." He responds to the child's mother who chided him for responding too harshly. Child is loaded into the car with no carseat. They should know better.

WEEKEND
Madelyn and I had a chance to head to the homeland this weekend. I played volleyball at Pella Christian and Madelyn spent the day with her Farm Grandpa and Grandma. Madelyn also had a chance to play with her cousins, Jaren, Bethany and Erica.

(Unrelated to the weekend) She is finding books herself now and looking at the pictures.
