What a crazy last two weeks. I will summarize here and fill in details and pictures in the next couple of days in the following posts.
1. We worked like crazy and put our house on the market right before we left on vacation on July 18
2. We traveled to Wisconsin where Jason biked in a relay tri-athalon.
3. We traveled from Wisconsin to Michigan to spend 5 days with my family at a beach house on Lake Michigan.
4. We decided to swing down to Macomb, Il on our way home to look for houses
5. On Saturday, July 25 we got word that we had an offer on our house. After some negotiation we sold our house contingent on a good inspection. We anticipate closing on Sept. 24
6. The realization that life is going to change and change quickly is starting to set in.
7. We plan to put an offer on a house this week that we found in Macomb.
8. Next step...find housing for us in Ames from Sept 24-Nov. 10ish.

WOW!! You have been busy! Where at Lake Michigan are you? We were at St. Joseph a couple years ago and it was wonderful!
Congrats on the house sale! Tim can recommend some excellent studio apartments in Ames for your temporary housing :-)
