Maddy has never been one to do what you want just because you want her to do it. She has always done things on her own time and terms. We have tried to teach her a rout prayer for meal times, but she appears very uninterested and rarely got past the first phrase.
These last couple of weeks, I've asked her to say her own prayer. I love it! :)
"Deeear God. God wuves me. Thank you for ummy food. Daddy likes eggs. Thank you for the (s)ticker at blue store (WalMart). Love mommy, daddy, granma, humpa, and....God wuves me, Aaaamen."

Love it! Especially the sidebar about "Daddy like eggs". :-)
And Humpa and Granma loved hearing Madelyn say it as she stayed with us last week - how precious!
