This past week we took a trip out to Winterpark, Colorado. Jason has been skiing multiple times, but this was my first trip as a skier. Madelyn stayed back with her grandparents, but Callie caught her first glimpse of the mountains. We went with Jason's twin, Kurtis, his wife, Lisa, and their youngest, baby Kate. Our good friend Michelle also joined us for the fun and served as my ski instructor.
The first day the guys skied. It was clear and beautiful, although cold and windy. The ladies enjoyed some relaxation and we explored the shops at the base of the mountain.There was plenty of fresh snow, which we enjoyed by our condos.
The second ski day, Michelle and I joined the guys. As you can see it was NOT clear and sunny. It was cold, windy, and snowed about 10 inches in the top part of the mountains. If you like fresh powder, we had plenty of it! For a learning skier, I guess the fresh powder provided a little extra cushion for my wipe outs.

Callie enjoyed investigating the condo. She also popped 3 new teeth in the 3 days we were there.
