I never had any pets growing up, with the exception of an occasional gold fish, and so far have avoided having any pets (although the ants think they are welcomed guests) until yesterday.
Madelyn loves to hold worms. I won't touch them without gloves on, but she begs me to find her "snakes" so she can hold them. So I said she could keep a few for her pets. We filled this container with dead leaves, soil, and grass...oh yeah...and 5 or 6 of her buddies.
