Memorial Weekend- Part 1

Before Jason's summer craze started, we took the opportunity to go to Michigan over Memorial Weekend.   Although he did spend all day Saturday working at a couple of research stations in Michigan installing some specialized equipment.  While he worked, we played.

My parents, the girls, and I headed to the Grand Rapids Children's museum.  We've not been to a children's museum before, so this was a lot of fun for the kids and provided some great interactions between the generations.

The bubble stations were definite favorites for children of all ages. :)

Being in a bubble was quite exciting!
Our girls grocery shopped, checked out, and became chefs with enthusiasm.
And while the girls were in generally good spirits we tried again for a nice pictures of the girls.  We're close to getting one worthy of putting on the wall.  The perfectionist in me may never find that allusive perfect picture!
